Happy National Bike to School Day!

We had a great turnout at Second Street School this morning for our WalkBike to School event. There were lots of happy kids on bikes and foot. And rollerblades and a scooter or two! We figure we gave away about 20 helmets and lots of blinky lights, water bottles, safety tips and more!

In other news, be sure to check out the editorial in today's edition of The State Journal entitled, "A Safer Second Street". WalkBike Frankfort is especially appreciative of the kudos expressed for the efforts of our organization and others who work to promote pedestrian and bike friendly routes, here in the Capital City.
