Dear Frankfort WalkBikers- Yaaay for the cooler temperatures and sunny skies this week! Perfect weather for a walk or bike ride! Thanks to all who came out for last Saturday's concert ride with Chris Fallis and friends; it was a great time! If you missed this one, don't worry, it won't be the last. Please join us on Thursday at the Paul Sawyier Public Library at 5:30pm for a public meeting on way-finding in Frankfort. Be prepared to offer your input on can't miss sights in Frankfort, especially the ones only accessible on foot or by bike. As you may know, Mike Bomford and his family are moving to Vancouver next week. Mike was one of the "founding fathers" of WalkBike Frankfort and responsible for much of the progress we've made in the last several years. Please drop by the Coffeetree Cafe on Saturday after 3:30 pm to wish him farewell and safe travels. ![]() And it's not too late to register to ride GABRAKY! Registration for the four day ride or shorter options is available through September 15. Visit http://gabraky.com to sign up and see your state in a whole new light! Wanna get your tweed on? Our 2014 Tweed Ride will once again take place during the Candlelight festivities. We're going for a steam-punk vibe this year; as in post-industrial revolution! Stay in touch for more info. Finally, don't forget that it takes all of us to make Frankfort the best city in the Commonwealth for walkers and bicycle riders.
