Second Street Corridor Visioning Community Workshops

Frankfort was one of only three state capitals selected by the EPA for inclusion in its Greening America's Capitals' project.  The grant received will fund a study to explore ways in which to make our Second St. corridor more pedestrian and bicycle friendly.  Please join us at one of these sessions to make your voice and ideas heard!

  • Please join us in imagining Public Space De-signs that:
  • Beautify the corridor and gateways to the capital.
  • Make the area safer for pedestrians and bicyclists
  • Better manage local stormwater runoff
  • Create public places for people to gather and congregate
  • Facilitate connections to Kentucky River walk/bike trail
