Repost from frankfort.ky.gov, November 22, 2013
Greening America's Capitals is an EPA program to help state capitals develop an implementable vision of distinctive, environmentally friendly neighborhoods that incorporate innovative green infrastructure strategies. Frankfort submitted a proposal for the revitalization of the Second Street corridor and the City was awarded professional design assistance to not only beautify the area, but also make the corridor more pedestrian and bicycle friendly and incorporate innovative ways to reduce stormwater runoff. The final plan has been completed and the City is exploring options to begin phased implementation of the concepts. If you have questions about the project, please contact Maya DeRosa, Planning Supervisor at firstname.lastname@example.org or Rebecca Hall, Grants Manager, at email@example.com.
