Celebrate the Fourth of July in classic fashion with a Patriotic Wheels Parade and Contest!

WalkBike Frankfort and the Folkbike ReCyclery have teamed up with the South Frankfort Neighborhood Association and Liberty Hall Historic Site for this year's bike, trike and stroller parade from Second Street School to Liberty Hall.

The parade will start in the Second Street School parking lot at 1 pm with an escort to Liberty Hall provided by WB Frankfort members.

At 2 pm, be sure to enter your patriotically decorated, people-powered, wheeled vehicle in the contest at Liberty Hall.  The grand prize winner gets two free tickets to Kentucky Kingdom, courtesy of Froggy 104.9!

But the fun doesn't stop there!  For the fourth year in a row, the deck of the Capitol Annex parking garage will be a pedestrian-only safe zone for families to view the wonderful fireworks show put on by VFW Post 4075.

Walk or ride your bike or park anywhere on levels 6-2 of the garage (be sure to use the Old Lawrenceburg Rd. entrance) and join us on the deck for prime fireworks viewing and some pre-show fun!
