The tenth annual Governor’s Autumn Bicycle Ride Across Kentucky (GABRAKY 2013) will be held Thursday through Sunday October 3-6. Cyclist will traverse the state from north to south traveling from Carrollton on the Ohio River to the Tennessee boarder. The 4-day journey will offer a chance to tour on some of the most scenic back roads in the state for around 250 miles. Points of interest along the ride include: General Butler State Park, Lt. Governor’s Mansion, Kentucky State Capitol, Taylorsville Lake State Park, My Old Kentucky Home State Park, Abbey of Gethsemani, Sisters of Loretto Motherhouse, Green River Lake State Park, Lindsey Wilson College, and Dale Hollow Lake State Park.
